The combining of individual components on the top of the flagpole allows Flags International is offer the most unique product in the flag industry: the Ball/Truck Combination. This assembly of thick cast aluminum is an upgrade in durability from the standard truck and finial system. The solid two-piece split cast ball is a more visually appealing ornament than the spindle mounted spun aluminum two-piece balls within the industry. The ball is split in the middle and secured by three (3) hex head screws to allow for easier access to the pulley for threading halyard. Additionally, the pulley is upgraded from the standard nylon pulley a cast aluminum sheave that rotates on a stainless steel pin. The small revolving ball/truck has an 8″ diameter cast ball. The truck is set with a 1-1/4″ NPT male threaded shaft and has dual sealed ball bearings. This ball/truck is best suited for one-piece flagpoles between 25′ and 35′ in height with a minimum shaft diameter of 5″.
