Description
Arizona Flag
Flags International is proud to offer this high quality state flag. The state entered the United States in 1848, after the Mexican War, but did not have a banner until 1911. The territory’s Adjutant General, Charles Harris, designed the Arizona flag and the state officially adopted it in 1917. Harris also indicated that his design symbolized the sun setting over the desert with the central star symbolizing the main mineral found in the state, and the blue lower half representing the United States of America.
